Psoriasis is a common chronic skin disease affecting 125 million people worldwide ranging between 0.1 % and 11% in different countries.

The largest adult populations affected by psoriasis live in US, followed by India, and China. It’s a complex disorder with no “one size fits all” treatment.

There was a major breakthrough in recent years in treatment  for moderate and severe  psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis with the introduction of new classes of medications such as Otezla and Biologics. These medication allow patients with severe psoriasis to achieve almost complete clearing.
